RouterBOARD 200 revision 3 manual addendum

All information stated in the User's manual for the RouterBOARD 200 revision 2, should be valid for the newer revision 3 boards, except the following improvements:

  • The current revision 3 of the RouterBOARD 200 series has one significant design change since the previous revisions: it has a PCI bus arbiter PLD added, which allows to insert both MiniPCI and PCI devices simultaneously on the board (so, you can use both extension slots). There also a few other small related modifications, which are software-transparent and will not affect any functions of the software written for the previous boards.
  • The MiniUPS Daughterboard connector now has its pin 7 unused, and pin 8 is not switching the RouterBOARD off, but rather for power supply to know MiniUPS is enabled (when merely powering the board from external +5V DC source, this signal is optional).
